Do you think The Great British Bake Off is better than Homeland?

HomelandFinaleThe Olympic Opening Ceremony and Homeland are among the programmes who have been nominated for the BAFTA Radio Times Audience Award.

The nominees for the viewer-voted award have been announced and Homeland, London 2012 opening ceremony, Call the Midwife, Strictly Come Dancing, Game of Thrones and The Great British Bake Off are the chosen few.

Voting begins today at 9am and closes at midnight on May 9. Votes can be tweeted with the hashtags: #RTAA and #BAFTATV.

Amanda Berry, chief executive of BAFTA, added: “The variety of programmes nominated for this year’s Radio Times Audience Award reflects the increasing diversity of tastes among British viewers.

“Each one of the programmes has captured our attention, and it will be fascinating to see which one is the public’s favourite when we reveal the winner on Sunday, May 12.”
